Nigerian writer, Akwaeke Emezi, is set to release their new novel, Little Rot. The book is being published by Riverhead Books and will be released on June 18, 2024.
Emezi, while announcing the book on their X page, describes it as an “absolutely unhinged story set in the underbelly of a Nigerian city”. It tells the story of five friends who become entangled in a web of sex, lies, and corruption. Little Rot explores how far these friends will go to save each other when a night of fun brings chaos into their lives.
