Tiwa Savage, Nao Billed to Headline 2023 Across the Pond Festival

Tiwa Savage, and Nao will perform alongside Ayra Starr, Tyla, and Elaine.

Nigerian artiste, Tiwa Savage, and English singer and songwriter, Nao, are set to headline the 2023 edition of the Across the Pond music festival. On the 6th of May, 2023, Savage, and Nao will perform alongside artistes like Ayra Starr, Tyla, and Elaine, at the Coney Island Amphitheatre, New York. The music festival, organised by Femme it Forward, seeks to shine a spotlight on talented female artistes and creatives in the RnB and Afrobeats genres whose origin stems from the UK and Africa.

In a press release, Femme it Forward noted, “The festival will shine a spotlight on the talented artists and creatives in these spaces who are often overshadowed by their male counterparts. Therefore, furthering Femme It Forward’s mission to celebrate and empower women.”

While announcing on their IG page, they said, “To kick off Women’s History Month, we decided to bring the culture Across the Pond. We are so excited to announce our first Afrobeats festival with some of the baddest, dopest, and hottest women in the game.”

Tickets will be available from today.
