Nigerian artistes, Tems, Rema, and Somadina, have been announced as some performers booked for the 2023 Lollapalooza music concert. Additional performers taking the stage include Diplo, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Karol G, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sabrina Carpenter, Ingrid Andress, and many others.
The concert, considered one of the world’s largest and most iconic music festivals will take place from August 3-6, 2023, in Grant Park, Chicago.
Following the massive success at the Grammy awards for talented female artist, Tems, the recent success on the Billboard hot 100 charts for Mavin Records protégé, Rema, and the success of Somadina’s debut album, Heart of the Heavenly Undeniable, the artistes, who are the only Africans on the lineup, are predicted to give riveting performances.

The Lollapalooza music concert is an annual four-day music concert founded by Perry Farrell, Ted Gardner, Don Muller, and Marc Geiger. Since its inception in 1991, the show has continuously created lasting music experiences for its audience. Lollapalooza has also featured visual artists, nonprofit organisations, local businesses, and political parties.
Asides from the availability of tickets, the organisers of Lollapalooza announced that Hulu is in talks to host a live stream for select Lollapalooza performances exclusively to subscribers of its SVOD platform. Last year, the concert aired on two streaming platforms.
