The award show, which aims to celebrate excellent artistry and entertain fans with thrilling performances, announced Tems and Wizkid as joint winners of the Afrobeats Artist of the Year Category. Tems bagged another award in the Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year category for her contributions to Future’s “WAIT FOR U.”
The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards was held on March 27th at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to honour the best musicians in the music industry. Other winners include Harry Styles, SZA, Taylor Swift, Becky G, Sam Smith, Selena Gomez, BTS, and many others.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards is a music awards show that celebrates music heard throughout the year across iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and on iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s digital music platform. The award show, founded by iHeartRadio in 2014, recognises the most popular artists and music over the past year. Winners are chosen per cumulative performance data, and the public can vote in several categories.
