Guinness Ghana Breweries Launches Maiden Edition of Guinness Accravaganza

Guinness Accravaganza coming to Ghana Afrocritik

The festival tagged “Multi-Artsy Sensory Experience”, is a periodical celebration of all things Black and magical.

Guinness Ghana Breweries has announced the maiden edition of its multi-arts festival, Guinness Accravaganza, scheduled to be held on Saturday 30th September, 2023 at the Untamed Empire in Accra, Ghana.

The one-day event aims to amplify Guinness’ “Black Shines Brightest” Pan-African campaign, by bringing together talented creatives in music, food, art, fashion, and sports, to celebrate the uniqueness of the Guinness brand, inspired by the beauty and power of Black in Ghana and across the African continent.

“The launch of Guinness Accravaganza is a testament to Guinness’ commitment to being at the forefront of culture in Ghana”, said Estella Muzito, who is the Director of Marketing and Innovation at Guinness Ghana.

She noted that the upcoming event is part of Guinness’ resolve to “continually invest in platforms that empower lovers of creativity, and those with discerning taste for great vibes and premium taste to have an experience of a lifetime in an event that elevates them to all shine brightest.”

The Guinness Accravaganza will feature live music performances by Ghanaian artistes, art exhibitions, a display of innovative fashion trends and styles, football games, and a curated selection of food services from vendors, paired with beverage drinks from Guinness Ghana.

Guinness Ghana Breweries is a subsidiary of Diageo PLC and a leading beverage business in the West African country. The brand has been actively supporting local artistes and creatives in Ghana through the “Black Shines Brightest” campaign by providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents and rewarding their hard work. 

The Guinness Accravaganza, tagged “Multi-artsy Sensory Experience”, is a continuation of the company’s long history of culture-oriented investment globally.
