Shanty Town is set for exclusive release on Netflix on January 20th, 2023. The limited series follows the story of a group of prostitutes as they evade a dangerous kingpin.
The feature film-turned-limited series was directed by Dimeji Ajibola, written by Xavier Ighorodje and Donald Tombia, and produced by Chinenye Nworah with Jonathan Kovel as cinematographer.
Shanty Town features Chidi Mokeme (as Scar) in the lead role, Ini Edo, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Sola Sobowale, Shaffy Bello, Toyin Abraham, Uche Jombo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, and others.
