Mohbad, Unveils His Sophomore EP, “Blessed”

Nigerian singer and rapper, MohBad, has announced the release of his highly-anticipated sophomore extended play, Blessed. The EP depicts MohBad’s personal journey and showcases his ability to rise above challenges to become a better version of himself.

MohBad introduced himself to the Nigerian music scene in 2020, with the release of his debut EP, Light. He captured the hearts of music lovers with his sensational single, “KPK,” produced by Nigerian hit maker, Rexxie. With “KPK,” MohBad skyrocketed to stardom and has since released singles in succession. MohBad has elevated himself as an artiste, and with Blessed, the talented performer is ready to take his artistry to newer heights.

MohBad has a masterful command of street pop. His groovy records are a seamless blend of catchy melodies that simultaneously highlight the realities of the streets. Blessed features Afrobeats musicians and MohBad’s long-time collaborators and friends, Bella Shmurda, and the self-acclaimed “Zanku Boss,” Zlatan. He effortlessly weaves together Fuji percussions and showcases his mastery of the genre’s progressions, constructing verses that leave an immediate impression on listeners.
