As the basketball world gears up for another exhilarating NBA All-Star Weekend, eyes turn to Indianapolis, USA. From Friday, February 16th to Sunday, February 18th, the city will host an extravaganza of festivities and basketball.
One of the most anticipated elements of this year’s festivities is the “African Takeover”, showcasing the rich African entertainment and culture on the global sporting stage.
Leading the charge are Lagos-based freelance filmmaker and YouTuber, Eniola “Korty” Olarenwaju, and the multi-talented Nigerian actor and model, Tobi Bakre.


Alongside them, representing South Africa is the acclaimed actress and television host, Bontle Modiselle, with the dynamic duo of musicians Robot Boii and Kamo Mphela.



Last year, fans were treated to a thrilling halftime show featuring Afrobeat sensations, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema. This year’s edition promises to build on that momentum and will offer a dazzling array of performances and cultural showcases that will leave fans mesmerised.
