Xavier Ighorodje, the acclaimed creator and writer of the hit series, Shanty Town, has announced the coming of his new project, Anatomy of a Predator. The 5-part series is a Christmas Day-themed drama developed in collaboration with Mobola Rahman.
“I give you my Anatomy of a Predator. Coming this Christmas from the Ogbono. Written by me and the very best writers I’ve come to call friend,” announced the screenwriter on his Twitter page.
The first four episodes of the series are written by Ifeanyi Barbara Chidi (Diiche), Donald Tombia, Fatimah Binta Gimsay (MTV Shuga), and Great Opara, respectively, while Xavier Ighorodje himself takes credit for the final episode.
Set on Christmas Day, Anatomy of a Predator teases an intriguing mix of drama and chaos that characterise the festive holiday when families come home to celebrate. The series features a talented ensemble of both emerging and renowned stars from West Africa, including Bisola Aiyeola, Eva Ibiam, Osarehia Oronsaye, and Sir Dee (Atteh Daniel). James Gardiner, George Nanakwesi Chux, Phebe Adah, Ajayi Akorede, David Okpo Eyo, Oscar Chihurumnanya, Bryan Okoye, Shalewa Ashafa, Moet Abebe, Caleb Richards, Princess Obuseh, and Chidera have all been confirmed to be part of the series.
Anatomy of a Predator is a production of the Ogbono, a content creation and development firm specialising in TV, film, and related media.
Xavier Ighorodje, an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer based in Lagos, spearheads the Ogbono. His impressive portfolio includes notable works such as Shanty Town, Ajoche, Battleground, Jemeji, Unbroken, Enakhe, and Covenant, among others. He is the founder and chief creative officer at the Ogbono.
