Asif Sadiq MBE, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery, announced the return at The New Black Film Collective Convention in London.

“We’re delighted to announce the return of Black Britain Unspoken, following the huge success of last year’s programme,” he said. “Warner Bros. Discovery is passionate about facilitating change in the industry to help increase access and visibility for Black filmmakers.”

It also provides these emerging Black British filmmakers trainings to hone their skills, giving them valuable experience to upscale in the industry.

The application portal will close on 28 April, 2023. Ten Selected applicants will be shortlisted to pitch to the panel, after which three finalists will move into production stage fully funded by Warner Bros.
