The organisers of the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK have released the nominations list for its 2023 edition. The award ceremony, which will be held at the Royal Regency, London, on October 7, 2023, celebrates the achievements of Ghanaian artistes in the UK and beyond, in the year of review.
The award ceremony is exclusively reserved to celebrate the contributions of Ghanaian music to the music industry. Nominated artistes include Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Gyakie, Camidoh, Niashun, KiDi, Daddy Lumba, Akwaboah, Diana Hamilton, Stonebwoy, Ras Kuuku, First Class Band, and others.

Some of the nominated categories include Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year, Highlife Artiste of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Afrobeats Artiste of the Year, Uncovered Artiste of the Year, Producer of the Year, Best Music Video of the Year, and many others.
The Ghana Music Awards UK seeks to celebrate and expand the development of the Ghanaian music industry. Now in its 7th edition, the award show aims to create opportunities for collaborations, marketing, and other benefits that Ghanaian artistes can harness in the UK.
