Nollywood Actress, Mosun Filani Oduoye, to Release First Cinema Movie, “Different Strokes”

Different Strokes will be available in cinemas nationwide, from March 17th, 2023.

Renowned Nollywood actress and producer of the hit Yoruba movie Iku Ewa, Mosun Filani Oduoye, is set to release her first cinema movie titled Different Strokes. The film is coming to the big screens across Nigeria on March 17.

Production works on this title began as far back as 2015, under Oduoye’s production banner, Beauty & Brain. The new movie showcases how friends with social differences managed their relationship. “We become not a melting pot put a beautiful mosaic. “Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams,” stated by Duoye in an Instagram post, while giving a sneak peek of the film.

The plot of Different Strokes follows the story of four friends who share one goal and an unwavering commitment to achieve it. They however realise their aspiration requires more than just a shared goal.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, featuring some of the best-known faces in the Nigerian film industry, including Mercy Johnson, Shaffy Bello, Jim Iyke, Adedimeji Lateef, Deyemi Okanlawon, Etim Effiong, Jide Kosoko. Other cast members include Lilian Esoro, Prince Harida, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, Blessing Jessica Obazi, Emem Ufot, and Mosun Oduoye.

Different Strokes is directed by the sensational director, Biodun Stephen, and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment. The movie will be available in cinemas nationwide from March 17th, 2023.
