The BAFTA is an annual award ceremony created to recognise the best British and international contributions to film.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Cord Jefferson, and Savanah Leaf have been announced as some of the winners at the 77th edition of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).
Randolph bagged a win in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in The Holdovers, while Jefferson’s American Fiction and Leaf’s Earth Mama won in the Best Adapted Screenplay category and Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer category, respectively.



Other winners include Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, Emma Stone, Samantha Morton, Anatomy of a Fall, The Boy and the Heron, Christopher Nolan, and many others. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Yorgos Lantimos’ Poor Things, and Jonathan Glazier’s Zone of Interest, led the winners’ list.
The British Academy Film Awards, commonly referred to as the BAFTA is an annual award ceremony created to recognise the best British and international contributions to film. BAFTA identifies and celebrates excellence, and nurtures new talent. The award also enables learning and creative collaboration. This year, the award ceremony was hosted by David Tennant.
