Babatunde Apalowo’s All the Colours of the World Are Between Black and White has been announced as one of the winners at the 2023 Out On Film: Atlanta’s LGBTQ Film Festival. The film won in the “Best International Film” and “Best Director” category.

All the Colours of the World Are Between Black and White has also won other awards such as the Teddy Award for Best LGBTQ-themed Feature Film at the Berlinale Film Festival, and the Frameline Film Festival’s “Out in the Silence” award. The film tells the story of two young men who form a powerful connection with each other in Nigeria — where homosexuality is illegal. All the Colours of the World are Between Black and White stars Tope Tedela, Riyo David, Martha Orhiere, Uche Chika Elumelu, and Floyd Anekwe.

Out On Film: Atlanta’s LGBTQ Film Festival is a leading annual film festival in the United States. The film festival showcases 150 narratives, documentaries, and short films. It is also Oscar-qualifying, as short films nominated in the Best Drama category qualify for the Academy’s Live Action Short Film award.
