Nigerian filmmaker Kayode Kasum’s film, Something Like Gold, will debut in Nigerian cinemas on September 29, 2023. The film was shot in Nigeria, and will be distributed by FilmOne Entertainment. Something Like Gold follows the story of Tamara (Sandra Okunzuwa), whose world falls apart after she is ditched at the altar and her father gets arrested.

The film stars Sandra Okunzuwa, Kunle Remi, Teniola Aladese, Mercy Johnson, Timini Egbuson, Patrick Doyle, Tope Olowoniya, Samuel A. Perry, and many others. The film is a collaboration between Greenwealth Productions Limited and Film Trybe.
