Although details about the plot have been kept under wraps, Ofoma, however, described the film, which explores the complexities of communal and familial relationships, as his most challenging film yet as he takes helm as screenwriter and director for the film. A Quiet Monday marks his third release following the success of his short films, The Way Things Happen (2022), and A Japa Tale (2023), which explores the dynamics of relocation through the story of a young couple, Emuche and Dubem.
