Afrocritik Monthly Editorial Playlist

By Yinoluwa Olowofoyeku

Dear cherished music enthusiasts,

What a delight it is to be conversing with you today! And do you know why our spirits are soaring? Because we have something truly special to share with you – the February Monthly Playlist is finally here, and it’s out now! We’ve meticulously woven together the finest musical threads from February into one captivating tapestry for your listening pleasure.

Originally, I had grand plans to fuse both January and February into one epic playlist. However, as fate would have it, the concoction turned out to be a tad too extravagant, bordering on the brink of overwhelming. Hence, we’ve decided to focus our attention solely on February. And trust me, it’s a treasure trove of musical delights that’s more than sufficient to satisfy your cravings.

But wait, there’s more! As we embark on this new month, we’ve decided to sprinkle a dash of excitement by shifting our playlist release days to Friday instead of Saturday. Make sure to follow us on our socials @Afrocritik to stay abreast of such delightful changes in the future.

Speaking of changes, let’s not forget about our budding musicians out there. Yes, you talented souls! If you’re yearning to have your music spotlighted, don’t hesitate to drop us a line at yinoluu@afrocritik.com for all the juicy details.

With the monthly editorial playlist, we’ve decided to take a slightly different approach this time around. Instead of singling out specific songs, we encourage you to embark on your own musical adventure by exploring the playlist on your preferred streaming platform. Hit shuffle and let the melodies serenade your soul.

Until we reconvene for the next weekly playlist, slated for this upcoming Friday, go ahead and indulge in the euphonious journey of this month’s editorial playlist. Rinse and repeat as needed to immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies of February and welcome the new month with open arms.
