Nigerian artiste, Bella Shmurda, announces the release of his new EP, DND – Do Not Disturb. The project is a reflection of Shmurda’s present disposition, of self-awareness and being in a state of contentment.

DND – Do Not Disturb finds Bella Shmurda seizing the day, living the present, and celebrating his success and achievement. It is also a contrast to the struggles and ambition depicted in his previous works.

Bella Shmurda’s mainstream breakthrough came in 2019, with the Olamide-assisted remix of “Vision 2020,” which echoed the hustle and bustle of living on the margin, and striving for success from the streets. Following this success, his debut EP, High Tension, positioned him as the voice of the street, documenting harsh realities, desires, and aspirations, and propelling the young artiste to stardom.

With DND – Do Not Disturb, Shmurda still stays true to his form of musical expression and avoids being carried away by newer sounds and trends, “…everywhere is saturated, but in the midst of that, I want to remain tuned into my vibrations. I’m in that ‘do not disturb’ mood right now, where I want to get together without too many external influences. Self-control is important for my approach to music, so trying to be in my headspace is key,” Shmurda reveals.

This new project features celebrated artistes such as Tiwa Savage, Lil Kesh, and Pheelz, all of whom add their unique flavour to the EP’s sonic landscape, and complement Shmurda’s sound and versatility.
