African animated stories are steadily gaining ground in the industry, with another addition soon joining the collection. Jabari, a captivating animated film produced by the Ghana-based animation hub AnimaxFYB Studios, is set to premiere on Friday, September 22nd, 2023.

The 90-minute 3D animation is a fictional adventure drama that follows the story of Jabari, an orphan boy, who was raised by Hem-Netjer in the ways of wisdom, knowledge, and sorcery, and trained to become a fierce warrior.

After uncovering the mystery of his birth and the demise of his parents, Jabari sets out to discover the truth of his destiny, facing mystical giants summoned from hell. To succeed, he must show tact, practicality, and self-awareness of his strengths and limitations.
