The Showmax Original Nollywood soap opera series, Wura, has been renewed for a third season, set to be released on September 23, 2024. The trailer for the new season has already created a buzz on social media, sparking mixed reactions from netizens.
Its first season premiered on January 23, 2023, and concluded on July 13, 2023, with a total of 100 episodes. The second season followed, debuting on December 4, 2023, and wrapping up on May 23, 2024, also spanning 100 episodes.
The series boasts an ensemble cast including Scarlet Gomez, Yomi Fash Lanso, Carol King, Ray Adeka, Iremide Adeoye, Ego Iheanacho, Martha Ehinome, Lanre Adediwura, Oluwaseyi Akinsola, Ropo Ewenla, Miracle Gabriel, Tersy Akpata, Aweodein Adeola, Modesinuola Ogundiwin, Casey Edema, and Mofe Stephens.
