Afrobeats star, Tekno, has released two new singles, “Gon Gon” and “No Forget”. The former track sees Tekno collaborating with producer, Egar Boi, to offer listeners an Amapiano-infused summer anthem, while he enlists producer, Louddaaa, for the latter R&B record.
Thematically, both songs reveal a romantic and evocative side to Tekno, as he asks his special lady to be his one and only on the former, and he pours his heart out, promising undying love to her on the latter track.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the new records, Tekno says, “I’m excited to share these new tracks with my fans. ‘Gon Gon’ is all about fun and love, capturing the carefree spirit of summer and the joy of asking someone special to be officially yours. On the other hand, ‘No Forget’ delves into a deeper emotional connection. It’s a heartfelt R&B-leaning track, where I sing about an undying love. These songs showcase a more vulnerable side of me, and I poured my heart into them. I hope everyone enjoys these songs as much as I enjoyed creating them”.
