It’s in the heavenly scent of paradise/ your breath/ warm releases of profound bliss.
By Tehila Okagbue
It’s in the way you look at me,
your gaze
most solemnly devoted.
It’s in the gentle brush of your fingertips
your hands
cold on my delicate skin.
It’s in the unconscious reverence
your eyes
they bear a divine sanction.
It’s in the silent vows we share,
your heart
entwined in my sacred harmony.
It’s in the gentle curve of your lips
your words
whispers of celestial grace.
It’s in the heavenly scent of paradise
your breath
warm releases of profound bliss.
