The Ibadan International Film Festival will be held from September 19th to 21st in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The organisers of the Ibadan International Film Festival (IIFF) have announced its return for the third edition. The festival will be held from September 19th to 21st in Ibadan, Nigeria. Like in the previous editions, multiple films will be screened and an award ceremony will be held at the end of the festival. From over 3,000 entries, a total of 23 films were selected representing 14 countries for the 15 award categories.
Femi Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun leads the nominations list with seven nominations, followed closely by the Iranian films, Pregnant and Golden Blood with five and four nominations, respectively. Other nominated films include Flipside, The Art of Giving, The Last Sketch, Jude, 1996, and many others. Asides the film screening and award ceremony, other activities like master classes with industry experts, art hangout, meet and greet, and film pep talks will also be held at the festival.
Since its inception in 2022, the IIFF has created an avenue to nurture upcoming filmmakers, actors, and other valuable professionals in the film industry. For cinephiles, the festival has created an avenue for them to explore multiple films from different countries. It has also provided a platform for films with distinct cinematic offerings and language to be showcased.
