The committee of the 13th edition of the Biennale College Cinema has selected the collaborative film, 1 Woman, 1 Bra, created by Nigerian filmmaker, Josh Olaoluwa, and Kenyan filmmaker, Vincho Nchogu, for its latest College Cinema event. The film joins 12 other films that were selected for the film ceremony and it is also the only African film in the program. Other participating filmmakers were selected from Italy, Canada, France, India, Vietnam, and Iran.

From October 8 to 17, 2024, the selected filmmakers will participate in a 10-day workshop in Venice, where international experts will mentor them. At the end of the workshop, four films will be selected to receive a €200,000 production fund and their films will also premiere at the 82nd Venice Film Festival.

The Biennale College Cinema is an advanced training lab for filmmakers, which provides an opportunity for directors and producers to develop and improve their low-budget film projects.
